Koora Academy was founded with one goal in mind: giving children the most rewarding learning experience. we believe that all children irrespective of ability should be able to take part in and enjoy such a universal game in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.  

Koora Academy is located in Sutton/Surrey and reflects the wonderful energy of all the surrounding areas. All our Coaches are FA and UEFA qualified, experienced across grassroots and professional academy football and share a passion for football and developing young people.

Safety - We recruit the right people, carry out appropriate checks and have the right safeguarding policies in place to ensure we have an environment that is safe for all our players, parents and coaches to attend.

Inclusivity - football is a game for all, koora wholey supports developing the game for women and girls and will make it a key target to develop our girls sessions to be as popular as our boys sessions

Fun - Enjoyment is a really important reason behind Koora, all our sessions incorperate fun practices and small sided games that are designed to ensure kids leave with even bigger smiles on their faces than the ones they came in with.

Long term development - we value long term improvement over short term results. We look to develop the player as whole using the FA's 4 corner long term player development model, this encourages all our coaches to plan sessions that will equally develop the social and psychological skills of our players as well as the technical.
 

Mission/Vision

At Koora we believe football is much more than a game, it is a powerful tool that can teach young children so many fundamental transferable qualities that will be meaningful to their current and future lives.

We want to cultivate well-rounded young boys and girls within a soccer environment that imparts values such as respect, humility, integrity, fair play, cooperation and community.

Players are encouraged to freely express themselves, be creative, make mistakes and learn from them with zero pressure from coaches or class mates. We encourage all players to set and work toward their own individual goals.

Its essential to us that all our players have fun in our sessions and play with smiles. we want players to stay in the game for as long as possible

All our outstanding football sessions are designed based on a well planned syllabus that seeks to develop the technical ability of our players and provide the necessary challenge to stimulate improvement.

At koora enhancing confidence in our young players means focusing on developing their technical mastery of the ball first rather than on physical attributes. We aim to improve their ability to run with the ball, dribble and manipulate the ball, pass and recieve the ball and to strike the ball.

We are committed to the ongoing development and education of our coaching staff by providing opportunities for further learning, which will ultimately help our players.
